IPS San Luis es fundada en 1995 por la Jefe Flor Deisy Rodríguez, quien basándose en su experiencia y conocimiento pone a disposición sus servicios de enfermera profesional en una casa al norte de Bogotá, siguiendo su vocación de atender pacientes en condición de cronicidad.
Después de largos y arduos años liderando este proyecto durante el día y al mismo tiempo trabajando en un turno nocturno en la Clínica Marly, la Jefe Flor Deisy decide dedicar el 100% de su tiempo a su empresa. Al hacer esto, le apuesta a un servicio con muy poca oferta y que es vital para el funcionamiento del sistema de salud colombiano y que además, es indispensable para muchos pacientes que tienen la necesidad de ser asistidos en una institución especializada, con trayectoria y experiencia.
Actualmente, aunque la IPS San Luis sigue con un espíritu emprendedor, aprendiendo día a día y superando las adversidades y retos que se presentan, ha crecido lo suficiente como para consolidarse como una de las clínicas más representativas en lo referente al cuidado crónico y paliativo en Bogotá e incluso, extendiendo sus servicios a pacientes que requieren cuidados postoperatorios.
